Ahrweiler did have a small depot with a 2-track engine shed to stable 6 small tank engines and a 16m (52 1/2') tuntable. It was closed when depot Kreuzberg was opened.

Up to the early seventies one track of the shed was used to stable the Köf II class 223 shunter or maintenance-of-way vehicles. Since then the complete building was used a a bus-shed, until it was demolished in early 2000.
